When traveling on a national highway once, I encountered several motorcyclists speeding at an incredible pace. Curious about the speed, I tried to match it and reached around 120-130 kilometers per hour. While the risk of accidents is high, the thrill is undeniable. Today, let’s explore a motorcycle racing game titled “Coaster Racer 2.” Although there may be up to three installments in the series, we will focus on the second edition for now. If the opportunity arises, we will delve into the other versions as well.

Game Controls

Help page: The game offers two control options. The first uses the arrow keys along with N or M, while the second employs WASD with X or Z. Other buttons include the booster and freestyle options. The Help page consists of seven pages detailing the controls. Take your time to go through them all.

Gameplay Experience

While playing, I found the game to be exhilarating and realistic due to the high speeds. However, one drawback is that the motorcycle occupies a significant portion of the screen, making it challenging to see the road ahead clearly. This led to frequent instances of veering off the road. Despite not achieving first place, clearing a certain level secures a win message and rewards. In my recent race, I earned $980 and received a trophy even after finishing 11th. Use the Continue button to progress to the next stage.
